Gerald and Aisa Ole-Nguyaine are from Tanzania. Currently, they are in the process of wrapping up their training for ministry in the United States and getting ready to return home to serve The LORD among their own people. They have big plans
for the ministry of the Gospel of Christ in Tanzania.
Aisa's greatest passion is to provide education for little children. She specialized in early childhood education, with her graduate studies in educational administration. Gerald's desire is to train church leaders, besides preaching the Gospel. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at seminary focusing on transformational leadership. Relative to all the above, Gerald and Aisa plan to build a Christian school, a church facility and a leadership training center upon return to Tanzania.
Why Tanzania? God used them to plant a church in Columbus, Ohio which began as a Bible study and prayer fellowship in the living room of their apartment. Many expected that Gerald and Aisa would stay in the U.S. to pastor the church. But it has always been clear in their hearts that God has called them to go back and serve Him in Tanzania. With the education and training God has blessed them with, Gerald and Aisa believe their impact in advancing the Kingdom of God will be greater in Africa. With that conviction, they have handed over the pastorate and are ready to go.
The Big Question: "Where have you been all these years?" That question captured Gerald's heart, moving him to respond to God's call to ministry. He had gone on a missions trip to remote villages of his nomadic tribe, the Maasai, in northern Tanzania. He led an old man to Christ after a few minutes of sharing the basics of the Gospel. Having experienced for the first time the joy of salvation, which comes to the human heart at receiving Christ as Lord and Savior, Mzee gave Gerald a quizzical look and asked, "Where have you been all these years?" He continued to state, "This is the kind of good news we have always been waiting to hear!" Gerald could not hold back his tears as he prayed in his heart, "Lord help us to preach the Gospel." The experience totally transformed his view of ministry! Ever since, his passion for the lost has been unrelenting.
God told the prophet Habakkuk, "Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it" (Hab 2:2 RSV). Gerald and Aisa know their dreams are bigger than themselves, but certainly NOT than the God who has called them. They share their vision with the understanding that God has entrusted resources for the work of His Kingdom to the hands of His faithful people. Maybe you are one of them. We hope as you browse through our website you will find the
to be part of the work of God in Tanzania.
God bless you.
